Nona Kay Lashek (Nee Karl)

May 13, 1964 ~ June 17, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 18 years, Allen, sons Murray, Aaron and Nicholas, brother Raymond and sister Maryann (Paul) and many nieces and nephews.

Nona was predeceased by her parents, John and Hildagarda Karl.

Nona was born in Whitemouth and raised in Seven Sisters.    She married Allen August 24^th, 2002. Her boys meant the world to her and she enjoyed having Aaron living close by and although her other sons were further away, she enjoyed any time they were able to visit. She loved working with children and touched many lives through working at daycare centres and working as an educational assistant at Whitemouth and Beausejour Schools. Her passion was planting and caring for her flowers and flowerbeds.  She loved animals, having many cats and dogs around her all her life.   Everyone enjoyed her homemade meals and baking. She always put her family first providing comfort and support to them regardless of how she was feeling.

As per Nona’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family internment will take place at a later date.
