1932 ~ 2019
With great sadness we said goodbye to our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, Wanda Litke, on Monday, October 14, 2019 at her residence in Oakview Manor, peacefully with her family by her side.
Mom was born on April 13, 1932 and she married Fred on June 7, 1952. She worked at the Clariss Tea Room in Beausejour and then moved to Winnipeg to work at the Cream of Wheat plant. Later on she worked as a caterer at many functions and was known for her famous fancy sandwiches and fruit platters. She also volunteered at the Concordia Hospital for 30 years.
She leaves to mourn her sons, Raymond (Gail), Miles (Jill), Larry (Joan) and Wayne (Brenda); grandchildren, Travis, Kelsey (Joel), Shauna, Tyler and Landon; great-grandchildren, Klara and James; brothers, George (Ruth) and Gordon (Alice); in-laws, Doreen (Ron), Violet (Gordon) and Pauline; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1991; her parents, Fred and Molly Krebs; sisters, Violet, Olga, Ruth, Margaret and Doreen; brother Ron; brothers-in-law, Bill, Emil (Jean), Ervin (Alice), John Naakins, and sister-in-law Edith (Frank).
Special thank you to her niece Beverly, the staff at the Oakview Place Extendicare for the love and care she received, and the special friendships she created at Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E., Beausejour, MB with viewing one hour prior to the service.

We are so sorry Larry, I really enjoyed visiting with Aunti Wanda on my visits to Winnipeg.
Good memories in the earlier time of lunch and than back to her apartment for chats.
